Operation LIPSTICK is singled out for praise in a new report by Boston’s Mayor Martin Walsh.  The report, called, “Mayor Walsh’s First 101 Days,” touts LIPSTICK as a key part of the administration’s agenda to improve public safety and combat gun violence.

Prioritizing the safety of girls and women

  • Mayor Walsh has publicly supported the mission of Operation LIPSTICK (Ladies Involved in Putting a Stop to Inner-City Killings) and partnered with the organization to unveil an MBTA ad campaign that warns women against buying, hiding and carrying guns that are used in crime.
